Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson excels at pole vaulting. The year 2010 was the time she became the world's first female pole vault champion during the Summer Youth Olympics. Bengtsson was awarded gold medals for her athletic performance at the World Youth Championships (2009 and in 2010) as well as in the World Junior Championships (2010). Angelica Panganiban was born in Payatas, Quezon City on November 4, 1986. Her biological mother is a Filipina who passed away in 2008 and was burial in Singapore and her father Mark Charlson is an American from Iowa United States and a past member in the US Navy. Mark Charlson, her birth father is from Iowa retired in the year 1980 and served on the U.S.S. O'Brien, which was stationed in the Philippines. Her adoption was by Annabelle Panganiban while she was still a child Her grandparents, Adolfo and Mila Panganiban, helped with her raising. A retired U.S. Navy officer from Iowa (United United States), he was aboard the U.S.S. O'Brien, which was stationed in the Philippines. Annabelle was the one who took her in as a newborn, while her grandparents Adolfo Panganiban & Mila Panganiban helped with the care of her.
