Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter when she appeared in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex for three of its final four seasons. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter was seen performing her first country album. Her album of the same name was ranked in the Billboard 200's top 20. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended by appearances on Dancing with the Stars. It was released in 2021 as The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre later on, she decided to explore a career in recording. She first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. After appearing as a guest for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer later appeared on television in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. The actress joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she was on until the end of the show in 2012, part way into. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give Up in a show episode from 2011 of One Tree Hill. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was included in her first complete album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it among the Top Five. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and The duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach number 3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 in the country chart albums. Following a two-month run in the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished fourth. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
