Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25, 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast, and a two-time Olympian. She was the captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the"Fierce Five" in 2016 "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she received a gold medal at the team competition which made her and teammates Gabby Douglas and Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who have won back-to-back team gold medals. Raisman also won silver in the individual all-around and floor exercise. Raisman also earned silver medals for the individual all-around , as well as in floor exercise. She was also a two time national champion in floor exercises (2012 and 2015) as well as the champion of the national team in balance beam in 2012. She is also five times a medalist at the national all-around championships (silver, bronze, 2010 2011, 2012 and 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
